This is simply the best scientific graphing program for the Mac. I have been using it for many years now to create figures for my publications, and to perform basic statistics on my data. There is one thing, though, that Prism cannot do, and that is 3D graphs. Sometimes data have more dimensions than you can display in 2D, which would best be shown in 3D to show all available information in one graph; other programs can do that naturally, even Excel. Examples for such data are flow cytometry cell cycle profiles at different time points or after different treatments, which give one curve per time point or treatment, and which can best be compared when displayed in one graph. Or bar graphs showing the measurement of one parameter in different cell lines over time or at different temperatures.I have contacted the developer with this feature request, but he - although he replied quickly and was very friendly - did 'not understand your comment about 3D adding 'more information' to bar graphs' and thus is very unlikely to add this valuable feature in a future release.
